A Stunning Chateau in South West France

Situated in the South West of France, just a stone's throw away from the world renowned vineyards of Saint Emilion and Pomerol, settled amongst the rolling valleys of the Dordogne, Chateau de Gensac is the perfect base for you to discover this culturally rich and fascinating region.
Whilst the area is primarily famed for the deep, full bodied red wines produced here, its reputation has also been built from its captivating history, its wonderful food, the diversity of its landscapes and the warm, welcoming nature of its population
The Rooms
Crafted from the ruins of a magnificent 18th century chateau and following a great deal of careful and sensitive restoration, this hotel now stands as a striking landmark against a backdrop of spectacular vineyards and woodland in the South West of France.
There are 16 double bedrooms are tastefully decorated and individually styled with lots of attention paid to those small details that count for so much.
Every room is equipped with satellite tv, private telephone, safe, en suite bathroom or shower room. We have 4 standard rooms, 8 character rooms (featuring balcony or terrace) and 4 suites. We have rooms specially adapted for wheelchair access and also connecting rooms for large families.
Families are warmly welcomed. We have a wide range of baby equipment to lighten your load, making the transition into holiday mode a smooth operation. Travel cots, high hairs and baby monitors are all available at no extra charge.Then just unwind and sip on a refreshing cocktail served to you poolside whilst you lay back and gaze at the breathtaking views of the French countryside
